The Inbox
One flat list of every agent across every space, sorted so whatever is blocking comes first. It answers the only question that matters when six panes are running: which one needs me?
Open it
The sidebar has two modes. ⌘⇧1 is Spaces, ⌘⇧2 is the Inbox, and ⌘⇧I toggles between them. Inbox opens wider than Spaces, because you read decisions in it rather than scan names; dragging the edge remembers a separate width for each mode.
Spaces answers where work lives. Each space carries a pip for the worst state inside it — so the blocked agent two spaces over is still visible.

- ⌘BHide the sidebar — spaces move to the strip along the top
What a row says
Every agent in every space appears once, triage-sorted with blocked first, each row carrying its state and how long it has been in it. Three words, and they are the same three words the sidebar, the space pips and the pane’s own status strip use:
- blocked — it cannot proceed without you: an approval, a question, or a turn that failed.
- working — a turn is in flight. Nothing for you to do.
- idle — finished and waiting for its next instruction.
A parked agent reads suspended, and one coming back reads resuming…. The time beside the word is time in that state, not pane age.
Why every surface agrees
The state is arbitrated once, in the daemon, across every source that knows something: an approval reported by an agent’s own hook, a native agent session’s phase, a parked agent, and the screen itself. That is why the Inbox, the pane’s status strip and the space pip never disagree about the same pane — there is one answer, and every surface reads it.
It also means an agent Raven has no local process for still counts. One running inside tmux, over ssh, in a container or behind mosh is read off its screen instead of being filed as a plain shell.
Getting to the pane
Clicking a row focuses that pane, switching spaces if it is somewhere else — which is the whole point of a list that ignores where things live. A pull request attached to the agent opens from the row’s popover, on whichever surface you chose in Settings → Integrations.
The Inbox is also what the space pips summarize: each space in the sidebar carries a dot for the worst state inside it, so you can stay in Spaces mode and still see that something two spaces over is blocked.
