Extract the archive, then launch Raven:

tar -xzf Raven-0.6.0-linux-x86_64-ac2e995e6f3f.tar.gz
cd Raven-linux-x86_64
./Raven

Keep the extracted folder together. The control CLI is at bin/raven-term; add that directory to your PATH to use it from other shells.

./Raven

Keep the extracted folder together. The control CLI is at bin/raven-term; add that directory to your PATH to use it from other shells.

  • Choose your processorRun uname -m in a terminal: x86_64 is Intel / AMD; aarch64 is ARM64.
  • X11 desktop, including XWaylandUbuntu 24.04 or newer. Other distributions need the glibc version listed above and the runtime libraries below.
  • Runtime librariesOn Ubuntu 24.04:
    sudo apt install libx11-6 libxcursor1 libegl1 libglx0 libasound2t64 libpulse0 libwayland-client0 libwayland-cursor0 libwayland-egl1 libxkbcommon0 libssl3t64 libgl1-mesa-dri
    The notch companion and macOS speech helpers are available on Mac only.

For remote hosts

Run persistent terminals on a Linux server and connect from Raven through the team relay.

Standalone daemon and CLI

Includes raven-muxd and raven-term. No desktop, GPU, or Rust toolchain required.
