The Fleet
The fleet coordinates work you are no longer watching pane by pane, and brings finished work back for your judgment. It is off until you turn it on — this page is the advanced door, not the default path.
It is off until you turn it on
Nothing below appears in your window until the fleet is enabled — Raven simply has no Fleet region. Turning it off later is a pause rather than a delete: what was recorded stays readable.
It lives in Raven
There is no separate Fleet window to go to. The Fleet region sits between Raven’s thread and its composer, holding a Now index of up to three packets and whichever one you have expanded. Raven is where work is managed, so the coordination layer is in the conversation you already direct it from. Agent panes are workers and carry no Fleet region.
feat / onboarding claims it is finished. Checks: 3 ran, 3 passed. The bytes it is claiming are frozen, so what you judge cannot move underneath you.
- ⌘⌥CGo to the next packet in Raven
- arlA review’s judgments
- ⇥Move through Now entries, packet actions and the composer
- EscDismiss transient feedback, keeping the draft, then return to the composer
There is no separate address to type to. Raven is the agent you are talking to here, so direction for the fleet is an ordinary message in this conversation — typed where you were already typing.
What a packet is
A packet is a request for your quality judgment on a result, or your direction on a choice. It is deliberately not a notification: it carries what was done, what proves it, and the materially distinct options you can take.
- A worker’s completion claim freezes its bytes into a result revision, so what you judge cannot move underneath you.
- A check is what the daemon actually ran to answer a criterion, and the validation record is the record of it having run. Readiness says, condition by condition, whether a result may be offered for judgment at all.
- Every packet offers refine as its escape — you are never forced to accept or reject to get out of one.
It will not tell you what it cannot show you
Every judgment you make is written once, with its receipt. Answering a packet twice cannot happen by accident — a decision you already made comes back as the answer you gave rather than as a fresh question.
The Fleet also distinguishes an empty queue from an all-clear. When nothing is watching the sources a review depends on, it says so instead of reporting quiet as good news. Nothing on this surface asserts something it cannot show you the receipt for, which is the point of handing it work you have stopped watching.
